Hot UPDATE!!!!!!

Sources revealed Hot, the Israeli cable TV operator, will launch within
1-2 months VOD (Video On Demand) and a PVR (Personal Video Recorder)
cable box.

VOD - Allows a cutomer to view instantly any film/show offered by the
company without any wait as known from the NVOD (Near VOD) technology
used today where the customer has to wait, usualy at least half an
hour, for the film.

PVR - Allows the customer to pause the show/film and continue watching
from where he paused the show/film as well as watch one channel and
record another and much much more all using a hard drive in the cable
box.
This special cable unit will cost (estimated) 200 - 300 USD per unit
per customer.
